Derek's background is fourth family generation in the building trade.
Tracked Access Hire LLP has come throught the need for servicing properties owned by Derek who has been unable to, over several months, find suitable equipment with the necessary versatility, with the exception of scaffolding, hence the GS18-11D has been purchased. The business has since been extended and the Z20 and Tracess 135 have also been purchased. Due to the cost of the equipment, Tracked Access Hire LLP has been formed, and the equipment is available for hire. Derek will mostly deal with the hire side of the business.
Andy, although not from a building background, has worked on a building site, and volunteers mostly helping with Civil Engineering projects at Didcot Railway Centre where he has gained experience with health and safetly requirements for the past 10 years. He will be dealing mostly with the hire side of the business.
We both fully support the need to be fully qualified in all aspects of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP).We are trained and assessed IPAF operators and demonstrators, and have joined the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) as the recognised trade body. Additionally we are fully trained in the fitting and inspection of harnesses. Although wearing a harness is not a legal requirement, we fully support wearing them as best practice.
Our vehicles are fitted out with the equipment listed to meet our customers' needs.
