Derek Mark
Derek's background is fourth family generation in the building trade.
Tracked Access Hire has come throught the need for servicing properties owned by Derek who has been unable to, over several months, find suitable equipment with the necessary versatility, with the exception of scaffolding, hence the GS18-11D has been purchased. Due to the cost of the equipment, Tracked Access Hire has been formed, and made the lift available for hire. Derek will mostly deal with the hire side of the business.
Andy Braben
Andy, although not from a building background, has worked on a building site, and volunteers mostly helping with Civil Engineering projects at Didcot Railway Centre where he has gained experience with health and safetly requirements for the past 10 years. He will be dealing mostly with the hire side of the business.
We both fully support the need to be fully qualified in all aspects of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP), and on setting up this business, have both been passed out on IPAF operator and demonstrator courses, and have joined the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) as the recognised trade body. Additionally we are fully trained in the fitting and inspection of harnesses. Although wearing a harness is not a legal requirement, we fully support wearing them as best practice.
Our vehicles, a Land Rover Discovery, and an Isuzu Trooper have been fitted out with the equipment listed to fully meet our customers' needs. We have two vehicles so that we should not have any problems with vehicle breakdowns and helps to allow full flexible working to the clients' needs and requirements.
We are based in West Norwood, six miles south of Central London.
